What is this craft beer that everyone is talking about?! What makes it different from regular beer?! And why isn’t it yellow?!
Now’s your chance to learn about craft beer and ask all the questions you’ve been afraid to ask! Sample 5 delicious American craft beers while learning to talk like you really know beer!
So who’s going to be educating you? None other than a bartender with 15 years of experience who was born in the craft beer mecca that is America, then spent time working at two different American breweries before coming to Osaka to open not one but TWO American-style bars!

If you ask us, Osaka still has plenty to learn about craft beer.
Don’t know what IPA stands for? Not sure what makes some beers taste bitter or sweet or sour? Want to learn how to talk about beer flavor and texture?
Don’t be shy, because this is the perfect chance to find out! You’ll learn English that will help you talk about beer, hold conversations in a bar, and make friends who share your love of beer. As with all our events, Japanese is (mostly!) prohibited! This is a great chance to practice your English and learn a little in the process. (And of course – delicious beer.)
Worried that you’re not going to understand because your English isn’t very good? Never fear – bilingual staff will be at the event to interpret Jesse’s talk as necessary!
DATE: Saturday September 26th, 15:00 (talk and tasting begins at 15:30 and ends at 16:30)
LOCATION: TNT Craft Beer Pub & Bottle Shop (1 min. walk from JR or Subway Taisho Station; 5 min. walk from Subway Dome-mae Chiyozaki Station)
PRICE: 2,000 yen in advance, or 2,200 yen at the door (gets you a 5-beer tasting set and all the knowledge we can share in 1 hour!)
