hi everybody!! julian here!! firstly, speaking for myself, i am deeply shocked and saddened by this unexpected collapse of ncb. i sincerely hope that all ncb students are fully compensated in the future and are able to continue studying english. i know that all the teachers and staff i have spoken to since last week have the same thoughts and feelings!
this is a tough time both financially and emotionally for everybody associated with ncb so i hope that we can all gain strength and support from each other.
finally, ncb was the only school i ever taught english at and to be honest it was a fantastic learning experience for me!! it was you , the students, that made it so great for me ! thank you!
Julian, I was a student till Oct 2005. I once had your Z level class in Osaka. I remember the class was fantastic. Thank you!
I am really worried about all the teachers who supported my English life at NCB. If you have a chance to talk to teachers in Kobe, please say hello to them.
If the teachers need some help, I (we) can do something for them. I know many former students feel so.
cheers yuji!! thanks for your kind words and support! i will certainly pass on your regards to the other kobe teachers, believe me your message will be appreciated!
i know that all the kansai teachers and japanese staff are now desperately looking for alternative employment. like the students, we are facing some difficult financial challenges. thanks for your offer of help!!
yuji, all the best for your english study and future goals. stay warm!
Much the same as Julian, I was very shocked when this happened, and feel bad for everybody involved. I hope that this does not stop any of you from following your dreams and continuing to study English.
NCB was the first private English company I worked for in Japan, and I will miss all of the students that I came to know over the years. There were so many great people there, both students and teachers. Thank you all!
Yuji>>
Thank you for your kind words, and I'll be sure to tell the other Kobe teachers you say hello.
Hi all,
this is David E. (the 3rd and least known David from NCB Kansai). I was just a part time teacher for the past 10 months when NCB went down. I'm really sorry so many students were caught in this bad situation.
But, we need to look to the future. I'm working with another teacher to organize some English skills seminars on Saturday afternoons. If you are interested, please email me.
