I have been looking for something we can do to help Japan and Japanese people. My FB friend shared me this link above. It's a project to make million paper cranes. You can forward this email or spread the word whoever wants to participateincluding my contact number and email address.
You can make a string of 50 cranes, or you can make loose cranes and send them to me(or I can pick them up for you) during April, then I will ship them together. There's a instruction how to fold a paper crane in their website. If you want me to teach you, I can teach you, too. They say the size of paper doesn't matter, however, if we stick with standard origami size 15cmx15cm(about 6inch square) it's easy for us to make many strands together. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. Thanks.
If anyone can pass this to students in UAH and UNA or any local school here, that will be great.
