If you are not scared, you can try downloading a program like "Rosetta Stone" from the internet. I know some very, very, very close to me that downloaded a program to learn Japanese. If you are a good person, you won't do it. If you are a smart person, you should do it.
i would like to join it.
Hanami is event one of the specific in japan,
so i would like many foreiner to take part in
and have enjoy this event.
and have a conversation in english with you.
i am waiting your joining.
hello everyone. It's been almost a year since someone wrote in here. What is new with everyone? Sorry I don't write on here more often. It's difficult for me to read Japanese and it takes me a very long time to understand what I read on Mixi. Also, people use a lot of slang I don't understand. Well, I just wanted to say hello.
I did not even know this "Topic" existed until somebody just wrote a comment.
Hope more people join here and chat... (I guess it won't be really a chat unless someone replies right away.)
Oh well, I just hope this won't get burried again.
What's up, guys! I was born in Hiroshima prefecture, and I am looking forward to speaking English frequently. That is why I now live in the U.S. What I want to say is that I want to contact with you guys, and also Im extremely glad to find this community.
Hi! I was born in Hiroshima and I am living in San Francisco, USA now. I always miss my hometown because it is the best place!
I am planning to go back Hiroshima for 4-5 weeks in this summer with my kids who are 7&4 years old girls. They can understand Japanese well but they do not speak it much. I am looking for girls or boys who want to be "playmates" with them. They are so friendly and love to play with anyone. If your kids or yourself want to "exchange" learnining English and Japanese, please contact me. Let's set up playdate.
I'm not sure if it is the best okonomiyaki restrant but if you are living around hakushima area,I recommend you "marumen". I also like "ちんちくりん" in hacchobori :)
