みなさん、去年に引き続いて今年も博多山笠追い山ツアーを７月１５日の水曜日、朝４時半からスタートします。

追い山の醍醐味を堪能できるよう、きめ細かなルートを用意しますのでふるってご参加くださいね。

今回は、福岡に住む外国人留学生たちにも声を掛ける予定なので、限定１５人とします。以下、詳細です。

数年前から始めた「追い山見学ツアー」、今年も博多のことを多くの人に知っていただきたいという思いから決行します。２年前は外国人も含めて１０人近くの方々に大雨の中を参加していただき、博多祇園山笠の真髄に少しは触れていただけたかなあと思っています。概要は以下のとおりです。ツアー参加後は博多に惚れこむ事請け合いです。

In about a month ahead, Hakata Gion Yamakasa festival will start with seven Yamakasa racing floats and more than twenty traditionally decorated still floats here and there in Fukuoka City. To give you fresh and exciting experience of "Oiyama float race" in the early morning of July 15 this year, I gather around 10 to 15 people and take all of them to the race as the true Hakatakko who was born and raised here in Hakata and know about the culture and tradition of this town. Let's get together and enjoy one of the most exciting "Omatsuri" in Japan!

Date/Time: from 4:30 to 6:00 am on July 15(Wed.)

2.目的追い山見学(10人前後のグループで、博多っ子ならではの追い山のホットスポットをご紹介します)
Purpose: Tour for exeriencing "Oiyama race"

3.コース博多駅前集合⇒承天寺付近⇒聖福寺近くの旧東町筋⇒大博通り⇒西町筋⇒須崎問屋街
Course: JR Hakata Station - Jotenji Temple - Shofukuji Temple - Taihaku Street - Old Nishimachi town - Suzaki

4.集合場所博多駅博多口、前日１４日まで飾り山のあった場所
Place to gather : Entrance at JR Hakata Station, in front of the spot where the Kazariyama decoration float is to be demolished by the midnight of July 14.

5.集合時間７月１５日午前４時２５分(遅刻厳禁! ４時３０分までに出発します)
Time to gather : 4:25 am on July 15 (No tardiness! Depart at 4:30am)
