Discoveries in Brazil Dance & Music Camp in Japan
9/15 (土) 〜17 (月/祝)

オリシャ・ダンス・ムーブメント等を世界各地で指導し活躍するブラジルの
サルバドール出身のホザンジェラ・シルヴェストレ再来日が決定！
今年で2回目となる キャンプは静岡は伊豆にて開催いたします。

このキャンプでは都会の喧騒から離れ、自然あふれる環境の中でダンス、
パーカッション、カポエイラなどのワークショップが体験できます。
ダンス、パーカッション演奏等を全く経験したことのない方から、日常的に
ブラジルに親しんでいる方まで幅広く楽しんでご参加いただけます。
今年はブラジルの代名詞とも言えるサンバに焦点を当てたリズム＆ダンス
特別ワークショップも企画しています。その他ブラジル料理、温泉など
などお楽しみプランもございます！

【講師プロフィール】
▼Rosangela Silvestre (ホザンジェラ・シルヴェストレ)
出身地であるブラジル・バイア州サルバドールを拠点に世界中で活躍する
オリシャ・ダンス・ムーブメントの指導者でありシルヴェストレ・テクニ
ークの創始者。クラシック・バレエを初めとする各種ダンス・テクニーク
を学ぶ傍ら、バイアのアフロ・ブラジリアンダンスの祖であるメストレ・
キング等に師事する。バイア民族舞踊団の振付師を経て、北米、南米、
ヨーロッパ各地で指導を続ける。独自に開発したシルヴェストレ・テクニ
ークの発展と普及、ダンサーの育成、公演活動に日々邁進している。

▼Mandela (マンデラ）
ブラジル・バイア州出身。東京都内で活動するカポエイラ団体TRIBO DA
LUAを率い、日本とアジア各地でのアンゴラ・スタイルのカポエイラ普及
に活躍している。また、ビリンバウやアタバキの演奏を通じてもブラジル
文化の魅力を広く伝えている。

▼Jimmy Biala（ジミー・ビアラ）
キューバとブラジルの伝統打楽器に精通する米国出身のパーカッショニ
スト。サンフランシスコ及び北京でのサンバチーム[SambAsia]の立ち上げ
とディレクターを経て、現在アメリカ西海岸を中心に北米、ヨーロッパで
指導と演奏活動を続ける。

Descobertas nas Danças e Música Brasileiras no Japão

Projeto Silvestre Japão está feliz de anunciar que teremos Rosangela
Silvestre novamente no Japão em setembro de 2012. Como parte de
um série de oficinas de dança e performance com Rosangela Silvestre
entre 15 e 23 de setembro, vai ter um camp de reservas natural, local
mágico e muito especial, que alem da pratica das aulas de dança,
música e capoeira, poderá também, se favorecer com a beleza e
natureza do lugar!

Nesta rara oportunidade, os participantes irão ter aulas teoricas e
praticas de Técnica Silvestre, um treinamento em dança que integra
o corpo físico com a nossa conexão para o Universo, e Movimento de
Dança dos Orixás, um estudo de movimentos e ritmos que têm raízes
na simbologia sagrada africana na cultura brasileira e que são fonte de
inspiração para a criação artistica. Além disso, haverá aulas
introdutórias na percussão brasileira e a arte da capoeira, bem como
uma aula especial de Samba de Roda e suas variações com Rosangela
e nossos professores convidados.

Este estágio de três dias acontece na bela região da Península de Izu,
em Shizuoka, Japão. Cercado pela natureza vibrante e localizado nas
proximidades de um Onsen, fonte natural de água quente, o lugar
oferece um ideal espaço para a imersão cultural e intercâmbio.
A taxa inclui a hospedagem completa, por duas noites e boas refeições,
incluindo alguns pratos da cozinha brasileira e baiana!

A instrução será dado em Inglês / Português com tradução em japonês.

Rosangela Silvestre
Coreógrafa, instrutora, bailarina e criadora do Técnica Silvestre, Rosangela
é nativa de Salvador, Bahia, Brasil, onde ela se formou e pós-graduada
em dança e coreografia. Ela pesquisou a dança e a música no Brasil,
Índia, Egito, Senegal e Cuba, treinamento e adquirida em tais técnicas
diversas como: Martha Graham, Limón, Horton, Bar ao solo, Ballet
Clássico, Técnica Dunham. Sua investigação dança e constante
desenvolvimento criou uma idéia do Corpo Universo, o corpo físico em
sua conexão com o Universo. Ela viaja o mundo inteiro para ensinar,
coreografar e apresentar suas danças, inspirando e incorporando este
Corpo Universo.

Mandela
Nativo da Bahia, Mandela é o fundador e professor de Capoeira Angola
TRIBO DA LUA - Angoleiros do Mar Japão, um dos grupos mais vibrantes
de Capoeira no Japão. Com sua maestria de Berimbau e Atabaque,
instrumentos tradicionais brasileiros, ele também toca com diversos
músicos, ao mesmo tempo educar um público no Japão da riqueza da
cultura brasileira.

Jimmy Biala
Originário da San Francisco Bay Area, Jimmy tem extensivamente
estudou música brasileira e cubana tradicional dos mestres e professores
em EUA, Brasil e Cuba, ao mesmo tempo tocar uma ampla variedade de
música como um percussionista profissional. Ensinou em diversas
instituições de educação, e fundou e dirigiu conjuntos de bateria de samba
em San Francisco e Pequim. Ele continua a ensinar e apresentar para
comunidade local e internacional.

Silvestre Project Japan is happy to announce that we will have
Rosangela Silvestre again in Japan in September 2012. As part of a
two-week series of dance workshops and performance by Rosangela
Silvestre between 15 and 23 September, there will be a special study
camp to intensively learn with Rosangela and two other distinguished
teachers.

In this rare opportunity, the participants will learn Silvestre Technique,
a unique dance training integrating the physical body with our connection
to the Universe, and Orixa Dance Movement, an artistic study of rhythms
and movements rooted in sacred symbolism and traditions of Brazil.
In addition, there will be introductory classes on Brazilian percussion and
the art of Capoeira, as well as a special Samba class by Rosangela and
our guest teachers.

This three-day residency takes place in the beautiful region of Izu
Peninsula, in Shizuoka prefecture, Japan. Surrounded by vibrant nature
and located nearby an Onsen hot-spring facility, the place offers an ideal
space for cultural immersion and exchange. The fee includes all the
tuition, boarding for two nights and great meals including some fine Bahia
style cuisine!

The instruction will be given in English/Portuguese with Japanese
translation. All nationalities are welcome to participate.

Rosangela Silvestre
Choreographer, instructor, dancer and creator of the Silvestre
Technique, Rosangela is a native of Salvador, Bahia, Brazil, where
she graduated and post-graduated in dance and choreography.
She has researched dance and music in Brazil, India, Egypt, Senegal
and Cuba, and acquired training in such diverse techniques as: Martha
Graham, Limón, Horton, Floor Bar, Classic Ballet, Dunham Technique.
Her dance investigation and constant development created an idea
of the Body-Universe, the physical body in its connection to the
Universe. She travels to teach, choreograph, and perform all over
the world, inspiring and embodying this Body-Universe.

Jimmy Biala
