As many Japanese living in abroad, I was thinking what I can do to help people suffering in Japan. I realised that many people over here in UK are also very sympathetic about the incident and therefore I decided to hold Japanese event for tsunami appeal Red Cross Japan.
The event will be held on Friday 08/April at the Potter's Fields Park next to the City Hall. (see the picture below) It is very prestigious part of London and the Management Trust have been very understanding and kindly rent me an space for free for Japanese day. (normally it will cost £5000 to use this space). Therefore, I would like to use the most of opportunity to raise as much fund as possible.
If you are happy to help in anyway, please contact me on my mobile 07956685135 or e-mail address eliishii@hotmail.com. In case I may be at work and you can't reach me on the phone, please leave the message and I will get back to you as soon as I can. The sort of people I am looking for are: - Entertainers / Performers ie. Tea ceremony, Kimono Kitsuke, Ikebana, Shuji, Musician, artist, designer, Japanese traditional game etc etc. - Catering business / restaurant who can have their food stand on the event. - Volunteers who can help to collect money or chat with people and let them know more about Japan who are just willing to help.
Look forward to hearing from you. Thank you very much.
