To tackle global problems, citizens' power and its network have become very crucial. In Japan, however, the civic power has not yet firmly rooted, nor has it been demonstrated overseas. We, representing diverse NGOs/NPOs in Japan, will host a forum to discuss and propose a new wave of citizens' approach for peace. A special presentation will also be given by a senior PR official at the Expo 2005 Aichi.
