当日は、二人の中学生も会場に来て、上映後、観客の皆様からの質問に答えます。

もともと映画作りの好きな二人の少年が、今年は広島・長崎原爆投下６０周年にあたるので、「子供による子供のための」という趣旨で原爆ドキュメンタリー・ビデオを製作し、核拡散防止条約再検討会議開催中であった国連でも上映されました。

ドキュイメンタリーには、二人の少年たちが直接インタビューした、次の方々が登場します。

・Martyl - artist for Doomsday Clock
・Al Wattenberg - University of Chicago physicist who worked with Enrico Fermi on the first nuclear reaction in 1942 and the Manhattan Project
・Leon Ledermann- Nobel Prize Physicist and former director of Fermi Labs
・Stephen Schwartz - Executive Director of Bulletin of the Atomic Scientist
・秋葉忠利・広島市長

国連での上映後の反響は大きく、イギリス、イタリア、韓国、 Republic of Vanuatu, New York, Michigan、からの上映の話しが持ち上がっています。

"On May 1, 2005 a Sunday London Times article disclosed the details of a classified memo, also known as the Downing Street Minutes, recounting the
minutes of a July 2002 meeting of Prime Minister Tony Blair that describes an American President already committed to going to war in the summer of
2002, despite contrary assertions to the public and the Congress. The minutes also describe apparent efforts by the Administration to manipulate
intelligence data to justify the war. The June 16th hearing will attempt to answer the serious constitutional questions raised by these revelations and will further investigate the Administration's actions in the lead up to war with new documents that further corroborate the Downing Street memo."
