Group of Japanese students have organized fantastic event, "Japan Festival" at treehouse this week!! This will be great opportunity for you to get to taste a bit of Japanese culture and also Peace-themed workshops and exhibition as well!! Please come a long!
1. Yummy Japanese Foods by Japanese cook!! @ treehouse Cafe (Served during Japan Festival) Menu: Croquette, Tenpura, Miso soup, Eggplant with Miso paste etc$B!D(B..they are all for vegetarian and vegan diets.
2, Exciting Workshops
[Japanese Class] Teaching easy Japanese conversation, and words related to peace.
[Storytelling and Origami workshop] Storytelling about Sadako and one thousand paper cranes showing how to make a paper crane

4, Introducing Japanese poems @ Recourse Centre Exhibition of two Japanese poems related to the Atomic Bombing of Japan.

5, Exhibition of Atomic Bombing of Japan Exhibition of books, pictures, paints etc. about Atomic Bombing in Japan.
6, Japanic Night @ Resource Centre Closing event on the 17th (Fri): Performance: Sanshin(Okinawan traditional instrument), Japanese folk dance and song, Iai, and more! Please bring your own bottle!!
