International workshop @ ICC which has been featuring such as Tomato and Fabrica, is going to host a collaborative workshop by Rinzen and Airside.
Rinzen, Australian design & art collective have been renown for their RMX projects and workshops and Airside, a London based art & design team known for their wide range of multi media works are going to lead the workshop to help and support participants to break the mundane reality and to create the new realm of expression and communication!
We often hear the words ‘everyone is creative’, and that is true to some extent, however if you don’t show your creativity to the outside world somehow, it would not be recognizable.
The sub theme of the workshop is ‘unlocking people’s creativity.’ Hence, this workshop is open to everyone who is adventurous. It does not matter, whether or not you are from the creative related works or fields.
The process and works will be recorded and all the results will be edited and remixed(?) by Rinzen to be made into a book. The book will be sent to all the participants and the industry related people in the world.
Let’s have a 10days of creative camp in Sapporo, a northern city of Japan and melt the snow with your passionate creation!
>Work & Exercise: We are living in the age of computer and it seems that our everyday life cannot be functioned without it whatever you are doing. So as opposed to the everyday life, we are aiming to be as physical as possible in the workshop exercise & collaboration. However it does not mean that the participants are not allowed to use computers at all, since the workshop should be developed and integrated by the participants as well as the creative leaders after all. If you wish to bring in your own computer, please do. You may well develop ideas of merging and combining physical works and computer oriented works. The most important thing is to be ready for some spontaneous and organic activities. Together, we will embark on some creative journey!
