日本で考える、アフリカの現実；
ウガンダのエイズ孤児たち。
豊かな自然と太陽のように明るく力強い人々が
暮らすアフリカ。一方で、助けを必要とし、想像を
超える困難に日々立ち向かう生活がある。
ウガンダでの国際ボランティアで出逢ったエイズ孤児たち。
急速にHIVが広がるアフリカ。
HIV/AIDS感染が広がることは、親を失う子どもたちも増える
ということ。
そんな一面が、アフリカの子どもたちに深く重くのしかかっています。
地球の反対側、アフリカの地で起きている、
しかし紛れも無く今こうしている間にも存在する現実。
遠いアフリカのこと？
私たちには関係の無いこと？
まずは知る事から始めてみませんか。
アフリカで、日本で、いま私たちが一緒にできることがきっとあります。

第１部 『ワークショップ：レッドリボンみつろうそくを作ろう』

レッドリボンをご存知ですか？エイズ理解の象徴、レッドリボン。
石油を使わない、地球に優しいみつろうそくで
レッドリボンみつろうキャンドルを楽しくつくります。
ＡＩＤＳについて考えるきっかけとしてお持ち帰りください。
電気のないアフリカの夜のやさしい時間を感じ、
また、イベントを通じて出逢うアフリカの子どもたちの思いを感じてください。
第２部 『トークライブ Commitment to Africa』
１９：００〜１９：４５
ウガンダでの国際ボランティアでの活動で出会ったエイズ孤児たち。
そこから見えてきた エイズを取り巻く問題、世界について、
ゲストがリアルな視点から語ります。
また、その体験から立ち上げたエイズ孤児支援団体"plas=positive living through
AIDS orphans support"の活動についても聞き、私たちにできることを考えます。
第３部『africa lounge』
２０：００〜２１：００
食、音楽、五感を通してアフリカの魅力を伝えます。アフリカで活動してきたスタッフと、
アフリカのこと、ワークキャンプのことなど語り合える質問コーナーもあります。
ジャンベライブやアフリカンダンスも楽しみましょう！
集まればみんな友達。これがアフリカ流！

Imagine the African Life.
People live like African wonderful nature and the shining sun.
That power reminds us the greatful enougy we used to have.
On the other hand, their lives need help and need to overcome
the difficulty we might not be able to imagine easily.
A Japanese volunteer met AIDS orphans in Uganda.
In Africa, HIV/AIDS patients increase rapidly.
It also means the number of children lose their parents
also increases rapidly.
The fact is in the opposite side of the earth.
but it's there nonetheless.
Is it about far African situation?
Is it unconnected to you?
Why don't you start with knowing?
There must be something we can do in Africa,
in Japan or in your countries.
The AIDS orphans might smile as much as you imagine them...

Chapter 1 Workshop : Let's make "red ribbon candle" using bees-wax.
18:00-19:00
Do you know "Red Ribbon"?
It is a symbol of understanding HIV/AIDS.
We will make candles desined Red Ribbon using bees-wax.
Bees wax is not made from coal oil and friendly for the earth.
Please enjoy making and bring it back.
We will be pleased if it would be an opportunity to consider HIV/AIDS.
And feel the African night without any electricy.
Chapter 2 Talking Live : Commitment to Africa

A Japanese volunteer met AIDS orphans in Uganda.
He go to know the fact; the serious situation, problems.
He will talk about these issues with his real experience and expresstion.
And he will refer the organisation he established to support the orphans.
Chapter 3 African Lounge
20:00-21:00
Let's enjoy african life through food, music and your feeling!
There will be a chance to talk with volunteer had been to Africa,
African drums live, African dance time.
