[profile] Born in Kobe in 1946, Kashiwagi majored in modern design history at Musashino Art University, where he now teaches. In his work as a critic he seeks to interpret modern thought and sensibility through visual and spatial design and is an interested observer of how living environments are created by electronic technologies.
