[Profile] Born in Shizuoka in 1969, Sugaya mastered programming in BASIC and machine language by himself at the age of 13, and to this day contributes many articles to technical magazines. After graduating from the Meiji University School of Law, he was hired at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture, Co.), worked on critical system architecture for railroad companies; and in December of 1996 founded eMplex, Co. and assumed the position of Director. Afterwards he conducted development projects for major printer makers' on-demand printing architecture and the contents of car navi units with internet capabilities for major automobile makers, and then became the development manager of eMplex CRM. Currently as the highest manager for eMplex, Co's software development he is unifying all the company's package software development. Publications include "The Long Tail Principle that overturns the 80-20 Principle" (Toyokeizai, Inc.)
