The Jungle….with its swirling life force and the psychedelia woven from within…..

The prana of the life within….
The jungle overflows with more life and chaos than anywhere else on planet earth.
There live countless animals, fish, insects, massive trees,
thickly grown ivy,ferns, and other strange plant life,
underneath the distant echoes of howling beasts,
the sweet seduction of flowers, butterflies dancing, and humankind.

The jungle is brimming with heat, with the spice of romance….
The jungle is the face of the natural world……the great organic collective.

< One-fourth of the earth’s oxygen is created in the Amazons. >

The Amazon is home to about half of the earth’s living genetic resources.
Even future cures to fatal diseases as AIDS and cancer may lie within it. …
It is truly the treasure chest of our planet.

Only 2 percent of the Amazons has been studied by science so far.
The other 98% remain untouched. The native shamans of the Amazon can,
using their original methods, distinguish more than 6000 species of plant life.

The Amazonian rain forests are often called “The Lungs of the Earth”.
They supply our planet with a third of our oxygen,
and absorb over a quarter of the world’s carbon dioxide.
“Lungs of the earth” is no metaphor or exaggeration;
it is exactly what the label suggests.

Continuing deforestation in the Amazons has long been pointed to
by countless individuals and organizations.
In December of 2008, The United Nations’ Framework Treaty on
Climate Change’s thirteenth annual summit (COP13),
International Conservation NGOs such as the WWF,
warned that over 60 percent of the Amazon rainforests may be destroyed
by deforestation and climate change by 2030,
and furthermore, will adversely affect many other nations of the world
through a series of chain reactions.
(It is said that 20 percent of the virgin forests
have already been destroyed due to illegal logging and development.)

There is an imminent danger that global warming will bring a deadly drought to the Amazons.
If it actually happens, rain forests will start disappearing,
which will further accelerate global warming
and we may be trapped in a downward spiral for years to come.

The main culprit responsible for accelerating the reduction of forests
is artificial deforestation, for the profit of a few.
It is robbing us and future generations of perhaps
the most important asset our planet has.

Performing as the headliner for this very special event
and for the first time in Japan is Treavor Moontribe,
based in Los Angeles, California.

Although he is relatively unknown in Japan,
he has numerous releases from top international labels,
and with his recent signing with Iboga Records,
it is only a matter of time before his name is known to party people worldwide.

Treavor Moontribe is one of the first promoters
to introduce Psytrance to the American scene,
and for 16 years he has been the organizer
of one of the most legendary
and longest-running desert fullmoon parties, Moontribe.

Aside from psychedelic music and dance,
Moontribe has embodied all forms of artistic expression
to create a vision that has strongly influenced
and inspired the anti-commercial,
underground dance movement of today.
He has amassed a huge following throughout the U.S. scene,
starting with the desert freaks of Burningman,
all the way to the World Music Conference in Miami,
where he will be performing just prior to his arrival in Japan.

Treavor has utilized his long experience and superb mixing techniques
to perform in all kinds of settings,
whether it be aggressive psychedelic trace,
groovy prog, deep tech, or even drum n’ bass and dub step,
and complements his DJing with chillout, techno, and progressive house
as a member of the eclectic live band Desert Dwellers.
To categorize Treavor’s endeavors within the boundaries of genres would be an injustice to say the least.

Unleashing his magic for the very first time in Japan,
he has planned to perform a powerful and convincing set intertwining proggy psy,
electro, progressive house and minimal tech,
to tell a story never before heard in the Tokyo dance scene.

As one of the most trusted musical navigators in the world,
whatever tricks flowing out of his bag on this evening
will surely delight all ears and bodies on the dancefloor.



★DAIJIRO (digitalblock/Yokohama)



Daijiro is the organizer and resident DJ of Digital Block,
based in Yokohama.
A diverse Dj, his playing style can vary from progressive,
psychedelic, techno, and house,
and his superb ability to create a story
and connect with the dancefloor has won him fans all over.
His background of Jazz, fusion, soul,
and hip hop has helped him to naturally connect various styles,
creating a truly borderless feel.

His new project Diskoman will definitely be worth checking out.

★Lucky Sarah a.k.a.Tsunami Devil (Audiophiles/AUS)



At 5, the Tsunami Devil was a quiet child
who often played an Angel in the Christmas pageant.
At 25, pondering what road to take in life,
she went to an outdoor psytrance party where she was struck by lightning.
It all became magnificently clear.
The Tsunami Devil's music comes from the heart and is about the joy of life.
Her last mixed cd "The Art Of Happiness" features tracks
by NOP, Phatjak, Shiloh, Beckers, etc.

A member of the artist collective "Kimocheeze" K's style

Genmei continues to create visual works of art at countless locations,
including Yokohama Halumbe, Elektro Ch.7, Tenwa-Festival,
Hikari Festival, Baionzou, Samurai Tribe,
and many other gatherings and events.
In 2007 he won a prize at the Active Art Exhibit at the National Museum of Modern Art.

★Michi (CONSCIOUS)



Using video and light, Michi creates a unique space.
From working on inslatallation art, he developed works including video images.
His concept of "visual projection as light with a quality" has enabled him to work
beyond the boundaries of tradional video art. The visuals being paint,
and the space being the canvas,
he has called his method "Visual Lighting",
and continues to create new artistic territory.

Starting in 2000, Michi started producing musical and artistic events,
and working as visual and atmospheric producer.
Currently he collaborates in projects involving not onlymusic,
but also media art, photography, sculputures, ballet,
contemporary dance, Noh, and opera,
in addition to architectural productions and displays.

In 2005 he produced his own visual-based show "Counscious"
in Aoyama Spiral Hall to rave reviews.
Afterward, he lived in London from 2005 to 2006
and was invited to perform at ICA London Museum of Modern Art, and Le Cube Media Art Museum in France.

In 2008, at the New Delhi JCI Japan Night in India,
he created a new stage expression of Noh combining modern music and visuals,
gaining the attention of attendees from the world over,
spreading his work to not only Japan but throughout Europe and Asia as well.

His work can be found in "Eizou Sakka Hyakunin" (100 Visual Artists)
