◎タイトル
廃油（植物油）で世界最大のキャンドル作りに挑戦!!
◎目的
現在、地球規模で問題視されている『地球環境温暖化』に対して、自分たちで出来る【環境美化活動・環境汚染防止・ＣＯ２削減】などを呼びかける為。
世界で、同じ日（夏至・冬至）に行われているキャンドルナイトイベント『電気を消してスローな夜を・・・』がきっかけになっている。
少しでも環境問題に対する意識を持ってもらうのに、『ギネスに挑戦!!』を掲げ、家庭で出る廃油（植物油）を使って、より多くの人たちにキャンドル作りに参加してもらうこと。
◎内容
各家庭から廃油（植物油）を持ち寄ってもらい、使い古したクレヨンで色付けして、廃油凝固材を使って固め、１本の巨大キャンドルを製作する。
（参加者は、廃油提供者・クレヨン提供者・当日の製作参加者）
◎ギネスに挑戦項目

・キャンドルの大きさ（高さ２ｍ・直径７０ｃｍ・厚さ１ｃｍのポリカーポーネード容器を用意する）

参加協力・協賛してくれる日と募集してます
参加協力の方は、当日１０：００〜２０：００までの間で、都合がいい時間に、家庭で出た揚物を揚げた後の古い油（植物性の廃油）を、漉してから５００ｍｌのペットボトルに入れて持ってきてください。
協賛協力の方は、
２００９年８月２・３日の２日間、鈴鹿ハンター屋外ステージにて、Ａ４サイズの広告を掲載。

ギネス社が興味を持ってくれるようにアレンジして訳してくれたらしいのですが、どこをどう変えてあるかわかりません・・・

We are going to make the world's largest candle made by wate oil in August 2009 in Suzuka city, Japan and my team members would like to apply as a Guiness Wolrd Record.
*Title: Make the world's largest candle made by waste oil.
*Purpose: Encouraging more people to know and participate events of environment beautification activity, prevention of environmental pollution and Co2 reduction.
This idea originally came from "Candle Night Event" on a specific set-up date in summer and winter around the world.
In order to have people in Japan acknowledge about above environmental problems, we focus on the theme of " Challenge for Guinness" and urge them to join the huge candle making by using waste oil which is generated from each household.
*Content: Bring waste oil (vegetable oil ) from each household, color it by crayon which is used and use solidified material to shape and make a gigantic candle.
*Entry Items:
a: Participant people
b: Usage of waste oil
c: Weight of waste oli
d: Size of the big candle (High 2 m/ Dia: 70 cm/ Thickness 1 cm )
e: Candle Burning Time
This event will be held in Suzuka-city, Japan upcoming August by people in Japan who bring waste oil, provide used crayons, and participants who can make the candle on the event date.
We plan to measure each our entry itmes above by selected members. And we record based on as followings.
a: Participant people (provider of waste oli, crayon and candle maker )
b: Usage of waste oil (record as we gather the oild from each household.
c: Weight of waste oil (same as above)
d: Size of a big candle (plan to make above size but re-record as the candle will be completed.
e: Candle Burning: (when the light is set, we count)
We strongly hope this event will be successful and hope you will accept and approve in regard to this wonderful event.
