KENNY LEAVEN aka Andreas Braun：82年ドイツはエルフルトに生まれたAndreasは若き時から音楽に影響されていた。シンセ・ポップとニューウェーブを小さいころより聴き、13才の歳でDJのスキルを覚え、僅か17才の時より地元クラブでプレイをしていた。最初のヒット 「 Feeling Spicy」[TRAUM SCHALLPLATTEN)はあのTRIPLE R & DOMINIKK EULBERG, Laurent Garnier、Sven Vath、Wighnomy Brothers、Oxia、OliverKoletzkiなどのオオモノアーティストを始めとする多くのアーティストにヘビープレイを受けた。続く作品も Traum Intercontinental CDよりリリース、103 Club Berlin やCentrum ErfurtなどのビッグクラブであのRicardo Villalobos、Alter Ego、Westbam、Miss Kittinなどのアーティストと共にプレイを経験。06年にはスウェーデンとオーストラリアツアー を決行、今年の夏にはスペインとポルトガルツアーが既に予定されている。新鮮なビート、力強いミニマルとエレクトロを織り交ぜたKenny独特のサウンドは、彼のプレイと作品にも伺える。ツアーだけでなく、Traumの12"リリースとZYXよりファーストミックスCDもリリースされる今年の夏はKennyの躍進が大きく期待されている。
KENNY LEAVEN aka Andreas Braun was definitely an early starter. Born in Erfurt GERMANY in '82 his early influences came from Synth Pop & New Wave. By the age of 13 was already honing his DJ skills & at the tender age of 17 was already playing big local clubs. His first hit on TRAUM 'FEELING SPICY' was championed by the likes of TRIPLE R & DOMINIK EULBERG with LAURENT GARNIER, SVEN VATH, WIGHNOMY BROTHERS, Oxia, Oliver Koletzki & many more giving it heavy rotation in their sets. Soon after another track was signed to the well-received Traum Intercontinental CD & gigs at clubs such as 103 CLUB BERLIN & CENTRUM ERFURT where he played longside the likes of RICARDO VILLALOBOS, ALTER EGO, Westbam, Miss Kittin & more increased his following manifold. 2006 also saw Kenny complete tours to SWEDEN and AUSTRALIA & he is set to tour Spain & Portugal this summer on top of his usual DJ schedule. Kenny's sound is defined by fresh beats - punchy minimal combined with electro elements & a little added quirkiness - in his productions and his DJ'ing. Kenny's 1st mix CD is coming in the summer on ZYX & the new Traum 12" is on its way.

日本人のミチコ・ハナカワとスイス人のクリスチャン・フィシャーの出会いは2003年度末、オランダにて。04年の春には alpinechic.netより4曲を収録したEP「The Adventures of Tim & Puma Mimi」をリリース。このEPはインターネット上で徐々に知名度を上げ、ついにはラジオでのプレイ、新聞でもピックアップされ、一年が経ったころには二人へコンサート出演のオファーが来るように。05年チューリッヒでのM4Music-Festivalで始まり、続いてプラハのBiennale、そして次々とコンサートに出演、06年の一月にはファーストバイナルEP「The Revenge of Tim & Puma Mimi」をalpinechic、RecRec & iTunesよりリリース。また、このEPはSeelenluft and Saalschutzによるリミックスもリリースされる。以後ドンドンと活動の場が広がり、パリ、ベルリンのPopkomm 2006、プラハとスイスでの数多くのコンサートをこなすようになった。記憶に新しいのは今年インターネットで配信されたダブル・ビデオ・シングル「Popkiller」。この作品はTim & Puma Mimiが独自で制作したPVとブラジル人の若手ディレクターのショートフィルムが含まれた。彼らのアルバムに共感し、「Namida」をショートフィルムのサウンドトラックに起用したとか。

Michiko Hanawa from Japan and Christian Fischer from Switzerland first met at the end of 2003 in the Netherlands. In spring 2004 they released a 4-track EP on alpinechic.net: "The Adventures of Tim & Puma Mimi". This little seed grew in the internet and came into real life: Radios started to play the songs, it was anounced in newspaper and after one year the first invitations came for concerts. It started with M4Music-Festival in Zurich 2005, then the Biennale in Prague and other concerts around that places... In January 2006 they released their first Vinyl: The EP "The Revenge of Tim & Puma Mimi" on alpinechic, RecRec & iTunes, with Remixes by Seelenluft and Saalschutz. And the Seed grew on: Invitations for concerts in Paris, Berlin/Popkomm 2006 and Prague again, and a lot of concerts in Switzerland, of course. Recently in 2007 they released a double-Video Single in the Internet: "Popkiller" a 100% selfmade Video by Tim & Puma Mimi and a shortfilm from a young director from Brazil. He liked the last album that much, that he used the song "Namida" as a soundtrack for his shortfilm.
"what the duo Tim & Puma Mimi deliver is a fast and crazy mix of cheerful tunes. Breakbeat, J-Pop, even blip minimalism and a good portion of happy groove fuse to a sweet, frisky and at times video-gamish 4-song ep. Who cares if we don't understand the words, we just love it. "
