Dear HCC Alumni and friends,
Summer Greeting from Seattle! This is Mariko from ISP office at Highline! How have you been? You probably remember the summer in Seattle, but it’s nice and cool! It’s about 20 C degree here today. Some of you are already back in Japan and some are still in the U.S./outside of Japan. Wherever you are, I do hope that this e-mail finds you well.
Today I’m sending this mail to announce our 2nd Highline Community College Alumni Reception in Japan. Our 1st reception was held in October 2005 at Shinagawa Price Hotel (see the photo: http://
For privacy, I put all addresses under “BCC” section, so please add this yahoo address in your address book. In this way, HCC alumni yahoo mail will not end up in your junk mail file.
This year I picked “Hakone” as our gathering location! Why? Because it is one of the most beautiful places in Japan, especially in fall and it is not too far from Tokyo. Even if people who live far away from the Tokyo area may want to visit “Hakone” for pleasure and attend the event!
Date: Sunday, October 28 Time: 11:30AM~ Location: Kowakien, Hakone , Japan
Fee: 3500 yen/person (pay upon arrival)
Please take a look at the announcement below and reply to me by e-mail with your information completed. If you wish to stay at “Kowakien” (the reception site) overnight, we reserved some rooms at the special rate for your convenience. However, we need to let the hotel know by the end of August how many rooms we need so if you want to reserve the room at the Highline rate, please reply to this email by August 25, 2007. For those of you who plan to join just the alumni reception but do not need the hotel reservation through HCC, please reply to my mail and submit your information by September 25, 2007. Even if you cannot attend the reception, I would like to know how you are doing so send your information. Your spouse and friends are welcome to join our reception, but please let me know the number of your guests and their names.
