The first festival (Sakimatsuri) will take place on July 17 and the later festival (Atomatsuri) will be held on July 24 last year. This time, we are going to first festival. You feel summer in Kyoto when you watch the floats and the Byobu festival. If the number of the people is not so many, we can go to Machiya for dinner.

＊We are not going to see the parade.These nights are known as yoiyoiyama (宵々山) on July 15.

関西の夏の始まりを感じに行きましょう♪

場所；阪急梅田BIG MAN。(阪急河原町へ）
昨年から祇園祭は17日がメインの”前祭”と24日がメインの”後祭”に分かれて開催。今回は前祭に行く予定です。山鉾、屏風祭り見物で京都の夏の風情を感じましょう。

参加人数が余り多くなかったら京都の路地裏にある町屋さんでのお食事も可能です。

＊山鉾巡行を見に行くのではなく、宵々山に行く予定です。
