日本クリケット協会-強化本部より女子代表候補選手の選考会に関するお知らせ
Announcement concerning the selection of candidates for the women's national squad
強化本部では、女子代表の継続的強化と、次世代の育成のため、女子代表候補選手の選考を行ないます。
The High Performance Division will be looking to identify candidates for the women's national squad. Candidates for the national squad are to be involved in regular elite development programmes.
今回選考された女子代表候補選手は「日本女子代表スクウォッド（Squad）」の一員となり、コーチ・マネージャー・トレーナーの指導のもと、継続・定期的に練習会・合宿に参加することになります。
The candidates will be required to be involved in the training session/camps with the professional coach/manager/trainers.
なお国際大会等の試合に出場する際は、スクウォッドのメンバー中から「日本女子代表チーム（Team）」が選出され、派遣される予定です。
Within the squad, the "team" will be selected in the case of internaional or special-occasion tournaments.
また女子代表スクウォッドには、カトリーナ・キーナン女史（元ニュージーランド女子代表選手／レベル３コーチ／2000年ICC女子ワールドカップ優勝メンバー）を新たにコーチとして迎え、更なるレベルの向上が期待されます。
This "squad" will be lead by Ms.Katrina Keenan, a former White Ferns, the National Women's side of New Zealand, with other enthusiastic coaches and managers. Ms.Keenan, who holds Lv.3 coaching certificate and has coached New Zealand National A side previously, will greatly enhance the development of Japanese women's cricket standard.
また、ボーリングマシン、プレーヤーシートの導入などの取り組みを通し、継続的に技術的・精神的に成長できる仕組みを構築する予定です。またこのスクウォッドに選出された選手は、日本女子クリケット界全体のレベル・環境向上に貢献することが期待されており、今後コーチ資格などを取得・実践することが期待されます。
The "Squad" will be practicing with bowling machines, asessed their development with player-sheets, and etc. All the memebers of the "Squad" are requested to commit in the development of other cricketers, such as to take coaching course and implement the coaching in their clubs.
代表候補選手は、
-７月２９日（日）の第１回オープン選考会（東京・品川）
あるいは
-８月１１日（土）の第２回オープン選考会（東京・品川）
でのパフォーマンスと、過去の実績を持って選考されます。
The selection session will be held on Sunday the 29th of July and Saturday the 11th of August in Shinagawa, Tokyo. Participants are required to participate either of the session. The selectors will select the members with their performance at the site and with their playing record if any.
都内・品川近郊グラウンドで行なわれる選考会への参加希望者は、クラブ代表者を通し、７月２８日（土）までに

なお選考会への参加者は、参加費として2,000円をお支払い頂きます。
当日、現地で担当者に直接お支払いください。
Each participants for the selection is required to pay 2,000 JPY for participation fee. Please pay on the ground to JCA officials at the site.
選考会の結果は、８月１５日（水）にJCAウェブサイト・ニュース欄に掲載する予定です。
The result of the selection will be posted on JCA website by 15th of August.
また、後日詳細を再度JCAウェブサイト・ニュース欄に掲載いたしますが、９月２１日（金）−２３日（日）にかけて中国・上海クリケットクラブ主催の「上海国際６人制クリケット大会」へ、日本女子代表チームの派遣が打診され、このたび派遣が決定しました。

本大会に出場する６名のメンバーは、第１回・第２回のスクウォッド選考会でのパフォーマンス、および過去の実績をもって決定致します。
（準備期間が短いため、変則的なチーム選考過程を採用しています）
その結果は、８月１５日（水）に本ウェブサイト・ニュース欄に掲載する予定です。
The 6 members for this international tournament will be selected from their performance on either of the selection day and their playing record if any. And the result of the selection will be posted on JCA website on 15th of August.
ただし、上海での大会参加の有無にかかわらず、Squadは選考後２週間に１度程度の定期的な強化練習・強化合宿を行います。
Please note, the squad will continue to practice together every 2 weeks, even though some members being selected to participate in Shanghai's tournament.
今回の選考は代表候補選手を「特定」し、「長期的に強化」することによって次期または次世代の代表選手を育成することが目的です。今回選考された選手は、継続的な強化プランの対象となります。
Again, the aim of this initiative is to develop candidates on a long-term
basis. Players identified here will be included in a regular elite
development programme.
国際大会を目指す選手だけでなく、高い水準のクリケット技術・精神的成長を目指す選手の積極的な参加をお待ちしています。特に若手の意欲的な選手ができるだけ多く参加することを期待しています。
Not only players who are eager to make
the national team in the near future, but also young and eager players
are especially encouraged to take part.
