SOLID n` S OULが今回ゲストに迎えるのは、 S Fのゲイ・コミュニティーから最も熱い支持を受けるディープハウスDJ、David Harness！！！
ソウルフルなアンダーグラウンドハウス、そしてガラージを中心とするプレイスタイルにより、ＳＦ発、世界最大級のゲイ箱として知られるUNIVER S EのレジデントDJを務め、またその名も"Taboo"というゲイ・ミックスパーティーを約１０年にも亘って開催し続けてきた凄腕DJであるDavid Harness。
プロデューサーとしてもMary J. Blige, Alicia Keys, Jill S cott, Rob in Thicke, Aretha Franklinといったメジャー・アーティストのリミックスを手がけ、Defectedを始めとする数々のレーベルからリリースを果たしている正にハウス・レジェンド！！
６月７日、渋谷はLa Fabriqueにて彼のソウルフルサウンドを体感せよ！！！

SOLID n S OUL – DJ DAVID HARNE S S – This is S OLID Tokyo’s and S OUL’s first collaboration together since they have both been building their parties over the years at la Fabrique taking advantage of the close friendship between creators Marshall and Aron.
Unlike S OLID which has focused on Chicago house with DJs like Johnny Fiasco and DJ Heather and S OUL which has been focused on more soulful house, " S olid n’ S oul" plans to unite these closely linked genres and showcase today’s stars of these scenes, including planned future guests such as Osunlade, Alix Alverez and Karizma.
For this launch event, we will are bringing special guest David Harness (Club Universe/Loveslap/Defected/Taboo/Thread Recordings) from S an Francisco U S A. David is an interesting choice because he is regarded as a legend on the Westcoast, alongside Marques Wyatt in Los Angeles , one of the few Westcoast DJs who has successfully pushed the more soulful NY house sound in the West. He is also highly regarded in the S an Francisco gay scene as a resident DJ of the longest running and most successful gay dan ce venue in America; Club Universe. Also his own party Taboo which has been running for almost ten years has found crossover appeal with both the city’s deep house heads as well as the gay community. S OLID n’ S OUL are also hoping to attract from both communities in Tokyo , as this phenomenon is yet to be seen in this great city!
David has recently been getting a lot of attention internationally with his original productions and remixes for Defected Records, including remix work featuring Mary J. Blige, Jill S cott, Robin Thicke, and Alicia Keys. He is a very soulful DJ with a loyal following in the U S and Europe, so we hope his Japan debut can help create a buzz for him here, as well as for S olid n’ S oul.
