This time we will work on exercises, we call "PA Excercises". ("PA" stands for Positive - Attitude)
I listed below some sample situations that might happen to us any time, and we will discuss and describe what a PA (Positive-Attitude) response might be for each situation.

1)There was a 6.2 magnitude earthquake. Everything made of glass, including china dishes, televisions and works of art were shattered in the Kiriyama home. However, the family was shaken-up, but fine.
2)San Tae, a Korean student, studied hard this entire life. However, he did not pass the university entrance exam. His parents offered him the opportunity to study in a university abroad.
3)Carlos had some very creative ideas. However, his friends are always laughing at him and calling him a dreamer.

Emi and I are back in Tokyo after a very enjoyable vacation in Los Angeles and
