Some info about the project: A new project creating a garden with and for children to teach them about biology, healthy eating, and the environment
Some project activities:
building animal boxes, cold frames, collecting sticks and building frames and trellaces, digging holes and makign mini-ponds, picking and taking home fruit & veg and a recipee, planting, watering, making posters signs identifying the plants, making films of themselves doing news type reports and what they have acheived that day and what they have learnt, carving pumpkins, composting, building habitat piles, collecting leaves for mulching, identifying animals, making plastic bottles into bees butterflies, cows and angels and things then putting them on the canes, making those things with cress in egg shells with faces on, taking home potted plants or just coming and spending some time in the allotment.
