Here we go again.... On June the 13th there will be again the Japantag in Düsseldorf. Like every year the Japanese community organizes this event, where we can enjoy Japanese food, beer, music, martial arts, cosplay and so on... Last year we could manage to get at least 7 people together. Hope this year we will be even more. Nokia and me always take a hotel from friday to sunday, and stay in Düsseldorf for a short holiday. Please discuss here who will come and who stays in Düsseldorf(may be we can take the same hotel). We are so late to reply your message.
(Actually, we were so busy while staying in Japan).
CAOS&hana would like go there with you! Yoroshikune〜.
I have a question. In days of this event,
do A lot of people go there?
The reason why we ask is that we think that staying there might not be necessary.
It is crowded...yes...
Especially Cosplays come from all over Germany.
Anyway...travelling back to Aachen should be no problem.
The thing is that there will be a Hanabi from Japanese fireworkers
who come extra for this event from Japan.
This Hanabi is always very late and after that many people start leaving at the same time.
When you don`t watch the Hanabi it should be no problem to return.
But it would be fun when we would stay all in the same hotel though....
I'll join you if I have time that weekend.
Just don't expect me to plan 2 months in advance....
The place is not so crowded during the day. However, last time I was there it gets really crowded at night time when the fireworks are about to start. Some people reserve their seats on the stairs at the river in the morning just to have a good view. The fireworks were spectacular last time I was there. They were said to be the largest fireworks in Germany for that year.
