Finally the christmas time arrived,
and while we could already enjoy the first little snowflakes
and the newspapers are talking about an upcoming "russian winter"
in Stolberg near Aachen the first christmasmarket in the region started.
Well,that`s not exactly true....
The christmas market starts on december the first and goes until december the 19th.
But at november the 17th the "Castle Christmas" started....
This means that there is a program on any weekend on the Stolberger Castle until
the 16th december.
May be it is not sooo interesting,because the topics are mainly about handicraft.
Then next friday on november the 23rd, Aachens christmas market will be opened.
Personally I am looking forward this event...and I hope there will be some snow until next
weekend. That will make some atmosphere.

It starts on the 31st november.....and when there is snow....it is a must to visit it.
This christmas market is just on weekends....
So,that`s all by now....

Thanks for the link, Dirk! I'm so looking forward to the christmas market here in aachen. We should difenitely get together! I will be out of town on business from 11/21 to 11/24, and then from 11/28 to 12/14, but any other time will work for me.
They are already putting up tents and shops in the marktplatz. I'm so excited!!

Today, my Japanese friend came to Aachen from Duesseldorf.
We visited Xmas market.
For me, this is the first Xmas market in Aachen, and in Germany as well!!
I could see A LOT OF people came from out of Germany.
Market is very wonderful! I want to visit every night after work
Unfortunatelly, I will go to Benrath tommorrow(25th Sun.) to visit my colleague.
I also have a big interest in the market at Monschau
I'm already dreaming about this....
It is a nice idea to visit market together! If our schedule meets other people's one, we want to join you in Aachen or somewhere else!

今日、アーヘンに来た友人とマーケットへ初めて行きましたが、楽しいです〜〜〜
グリューワインを注文するはずが、ホットチョコレート生クリーム付きに魅了され、つい浮気してしまいました・・（写真２枚目をご覧ください）
カップも店によってデザインが違うので、どこがかわいいかつい研究したくなります。
毎晩仕事の帰りにマーケットに立ち寄りたくなってしまいました！
