We are planning to go to Kasama Inari Jinja(Shinto Shrine) to see the Yabusame (mounted archery) and Kiku Matsuri(Chrysanthemum Festival),Sun,Nov 3th.

This ceremonial form of equine archery is observed as a form of divination for the year's harvest - a subject with strong associations to the deity Inari. Each November 3, members of the Ogasawara school of mounted archery perform the rite at a special archery facility in accordance with ancient precedent ; the observance is one of the three major performance of yabusame in the Kanto Plain region.



Do you want to go with us?

If you want to go to Kasama with us, please tell us by this Saturday,Nov 2th.

We'll also be carpooling and are looking for volunteers who have a car and

are willing to drive.We will pay 4500 yen (gasoline, expressway tolls).



The event will be held even if it rains lightly.

In case of storms or heavy rain on the event day, we will change to an

indoor activity.

If you are busy, you can be late or you can only stay there as your schedule allows.

Also, if you don't have your car, we will pick you up.
