We will have the opportunity to go to Okutone resort, and Tenjindaira resort. Both of these are great locations for powder skiing/riding, in a backdrop of beautiful mountains. We have put together a package that includes lodging, lift tickets, all transportation from our meeting point in Minakami, and rental equipment. The total cost is 15,700 円 with no equipment, or 20,700 円 with equipment rental. If you wish to join this trip, please inform us ASAP because lodging space is limited.

Meeting Time and Place:
9:22 AM at Jomokogen station in front of the ticket gates. Or at 9:45 at Minakami Station. Jomokogen station is on the shinkansen line from Tokyo and Ueno, and the train departs Tokyo station at 8:04 a.m. We will take a shuttle bus from Jomokogen station for 500 yen per person. If you wish to take a local train please arrive at Minakami station by 9:45 a.m.

Cost:
The total cost is 15,700 円 with no equipment, or 20,700 円 with equipment rental. This includes transportation to and from our meeting point in Minakami, all transportation to and from the ski resorts, and 1 night shared accomodation.

Things you should bring:
Warm clothes, ski clothing and equipment if you have it. If you need to rent ski clothing it is available for 2,000 yen per day.

Detailed Description of Trip:
We will have 2 full days of skiing in the Minakami area. The resorts here have escaped the large crowds that can be a problem at some of the more famous resorts. This area is known to have great powder, and a lot of backcountry skiing is available as well. We have the choice between 3 resorts to choose from Houdaigi, Tenjindaira, and Okutone. We will ski at 2 different resorts during this weekend, and we will choose based on the best conditions.

The lodge we are staying at has a great restaurant and bar. Breakfast is available for 1,000 yen per person. You need to sign up for this trip as soon as possible. The maximum number of participants is 15, and the minimum is 5.
