As you know, Japan has been having hard time since the earthquake. All of my family are ok in Japan though, it's hard to hear how they are doing over there. ...They are scared from earthquake everyday.(still) Friends in Japan was saying they can't sleep or they don't see food at store or they are saving electricity or things like that. I hear not only from News but also from real voice on facebook or tweeter or mixi. Some of friends said there was a hell. really hell. She said T.V. doesn't show reality. It was awful to imagine from her story how there was.
And it's very stressful for me that I can't share their feeling in Japan. Many of my family and friends are doing something for Japan, and I thought I'd like to do something for Japan too.
I talked to Asian study department and got permission to do charity event for Japan Relief at Belmont. All of the money go for donation through the Japanese consul in T.N.
Basically, what to do is selling cake or cookies with cranes(origami).
Could somebody to help for selling?? It's gona be on Friday April 29th, 10am to 2pm at beaman(Belmont). It'd be nice even if you can join a little while!! Let me know if you can!!
Also let me know if you can help me to make cranes! I was going to ask to make cranes at Art building sometime. Also!!!!!!!Could anybody help me to make a flyer????---who can use illustrator????
