CHALMERS JOHNSON is president of the Japan Policy Research Institute, a non-profit research and public affairs organization devoted to public education concerning Japan and international relations in the Pacific. His trilogy of books is a monumental study of American foreign and military problems in the 21st century. This program celebrates the publication this month of the third and final installment, Nemesis: The Last Days of the American Republic.
PATRICK LLOYD HATCHER, Ph.D., a Kiriyama Distinguished Fellow at the USF Center for the Pacific Rim, will moderate.
