Experience Japan with Dublin City Council and in conjunction Japanese organisations in Ireland are arranging a Commemorative Event. This will give people living in Dublin the opportunity to commemorate those who have suffered and show Ireland's solidarity with Japan following the Tohoku Earthquake & Tsunami on 11th March last.
The event will take place in St. Patrick’s Cathedral on Monday 11th April 2011 at 7pm. During the commemoration there will be a series of suitable short musical interludes with some poetry readings and proses extracts.
A special account to collect contributions for Earthquake and Tsunami Relief has been established. Any donations in support of Earthquake and Tsunami Relief will go in its entirety to organisations carefully selected for their active efforts in earthquake and tsunami relief and recovery in Japan.
