5月に来日したSASHA以来、久しぶりにWOMB presents Wの開催が決定。今年海浜幕張公園で開催したBIG BEACH FESTIVAL'12にも出演し、日本での不動の人気を再認識させたJOHN DIGWEEDがWOMBへ約10年ぶりの決定！グローバルシーンでずっと頂点に立ち続け、アーティストとしてプロデューサーとしてまたレーベルマネージャーとして、ここまで確固とした地位を確保して来たアーティストはJOHN DIGWEEDの他ににいないだろう。Renaissance や GU といった時代を作った Mix CD シリーズの顔であり、13年目に入ったベッドロック(Bedrock)はディグウィードが運営する現在進行形の成功的なレーベルである。またジョンがホストを務めるラジオ番組「TRANSITIONS」はすでに10周年を超えたが今も30カ国以上のラジオ局でオンエアされ、週間1200万人がこの番組を聴いているという驚異的な番組だ。映画のサントラのような美しい旋律からエネルギッシュでベースがうなるテクノトラックまで幅広い楽曲を紡いで一つのストーリーを作り上げて行くディグウィード独自のスタイル。新しい世代のクラウドたちもディグウィードのセットにハマるという体験が他のどのアーティストでもなし得ない唯一無二のエクスペリエンスであることに気づいている。
