3. The JSA recently canceled the spring Sumo Tourney in Osaka for the first time since 1946, what effect will this have on Japanese culture?
4. What aspects of other countries culture fascinate you? How about when you were a child?
5. What impact did WWII have on Japans culture?
6. Imagine that you are talking to a foreigner who has been to Japan 7 or 8 times and they ask you this question: “What is the best bit of Japan that, importantly, is not famous to the outside world? I ask because everyone knows Kyoto, Tokyo, etc”. What/where would you recommend and why?
