Poetry Reading Afternoon

I’m thinking of having another event sometime in March or April since nothing much is happening in Spring time. Date has not been set just yet, but I thought it would be a nice opportunity to listen to beautiful tone of poetry in English in such a lovely time of the year. I think most of the people whom I would like to attend will be adults. Poetry is one of the best ways to learn the rhymes and accents of English.

If you are interested, please let me know. And I’m thinking of having guest native speakers to perform for us. And you also are so welcome to perform poems of your own or your favorite poets’ one. The place will be in Marugame, Kagawa.

We’ll have a nice warm afternoon with English poetry and coffee or tea.

English　Poem　の朗読会

春の英語のイベントってあんまり無いなぁ。っと思っていたのですが、やっぱり何かしないと、つまんない！！っという事で、英語の詩の朗読会なんていうちょっとセレブなイベントの開催を考えています。まだ具体的な日時などの詳細は決定していませんが、3月か4月に、ゲストスピーカーとして、ネイティブの方もお招きして、本物の英語の音と韻に触れてみましょう！英語の基本は詩にアリ！です！

興味のある方は是非hikatanまでご連絡ください。ネイティブによる朗読ももちろんありますが、皆さんもオリジナル、または好きな作家さんの詩を朗読してみましょう！大人の発表会みたいでワクワクしませんか？場所は香川県丸亀市です。

当日は暖かい午後のひと時を皆さんとお茶を飲みながら、優雅に過ごせると思います。
