先日ハイチでは悲惨な地震が起こってしまい、大変な惨状となっております。
自力での復興が難しい中、国際社会がいろいろな形で動きサポートを初めています。
そして明日、ハイチ復興へのチャリティイベントが代官山で開催され、
michiもVJとして参加することになりました。

＜2010年1月12日　現地時間16時53分　ハイチ共和国にて地震　マグニチュード7.0＞


地震の規模の大きさやハイチの政情不安定に起因する社会基盤の脆弱さが相まり、推定死者が数万人に及ぶなど、単一の地震災害としては近年空前の大規模なものとなりました。

○15日時点で死者最大20万人と予測
○首都ポルトーフランスは3/4が壊滅状態になり再建の必要があり
○被災者は総人口の約1/3にあたる300万人が被災
○現地での状況は各国から早急に送られた救援物資でも十分に足りていない
○物資の奪い合いで死者も出る

などとても書ききれない悲惨な状況です。　

『自分達で何かできることはないか。』
そこでハイチで起こった大地震被害に対し、緊急･復興支援のための募金活動を促すチャリティーイベントを開催します。

○入場無料した訳は決められた金額ではなく来て頂いた皆さんのお気持ちで募金して頂きたい。
○当日NGO団体の方からハイチの被害についてお話をして頂きます、そこでハイチの現状を知りこれから自分達ができる
援助の方法を一緒に考えていく機会を設けるため、より多くの方々に来て頂きたいと思っています。


またそういう募金活動の問題である不透明な部分を無くすためにNGO団体に協力してもらい、企画者と共に確認し合い
援助報告を後に公開したいと思います。当日集まった皆さんからの募金は全て下記NGO団体に役立ててもらいます。

当日ハイチの現在の状況を知る時間を作ります。

On Jan 12, 2010, 4:53pm Haiti time, a magnitude 7.0 earthquake struck
the republic of Haiti. Due to the sheer force of the earthquake
combined with the political restlessness and weak social status of the
country, the number of victims of this earthquake is said to reach
anywhere from 100,000-300,000 people, making the haitian earthquake
one of the worst recorded earthquake disasters in modern times. By Jan
15th, the number of victims was said to have risen to 200,000 and
three quarters of the nation’s capital Port-au-Prince completely
devastated with an urgent need for immediate reconstruction.
Approximately one third of the population or 3 million people have
lost their homes.

Although rescue supplies from around the world are being rushed to
haiti, it is far from enough and the rush by the Haitians to get at it
is fast becoming the subject of more and more violence and murder, as
they struggle to survive. As a small but important response to this
disaster, we will be holding a donation-gathering charity event for us
to contribute what we can for the people of Haiti in a short space of
time. As it is a free event with all participants kindly giving their
time for the cause, we would appreciate for as many people to drop by
to deepen their understanding of the Haiti disaster, the chaos the
country is in & then hopefully for you to respond with generous
donations because of it. We hope that this event will gather
like-minded people to discuss charitable giving and ultimately create
further methods to support good causes in the future...
