「ユニークで、オモシロい音楽」をモットーに音楽活動を続けている。
パートは、ヴァイオリン、エレキギター、雅楽の楽器の笙、ボーカルを演奏など。
近年は、オリジナル曲をヴァイオリンを弾きながら歌う独自のスタイルに力を入れており、
並行して、音楽イベントの企画、日本の伝統芸能のフィールドワーク、即興音楽など、分野を問わない活動を展開している。
多くのウェブサイト製作に携わっている、プロのウェブ・デザイナーでもある。

Born in Tokyo in 1977.
Works under the motto “unique and interesting music.” Performances em-ploy various instruments including, voice, violin, electric guitar,and shoü, or sheng, a fixed reed wind instrument used in old Japanese court music. Most recent focus is on original compositions with violin and voice in his own peculiar style. Concurrently promoting music events, doing traditional performance art field work, spontaneous composition, and other activities expanding beyond any single field. A web designer by trade, has taken part in the design of numerous web sites.

２０歳にして初めて楽器を手にする。まさかの行為。エリックドルフィー、ジョンコルトレーンに憧れての事。わずか３か月後に大学祭で初ライブ。その後、人力音楽普及協会に参加。バンド化した人音協で活動。
1986年ころからは、音楽居酒屋「なんや」の経営のため、音楽活動から離れる。
2008年あるできごとをきっかけに再びサックスに目覚める。自身のバンドを作り、初めて曲も作り、音楽のおもしろさを満喫している。
Picked up the instrument for the first time at the age of 20, aspiring to the likes of Eric Dolphy and John Coltrane. Performed first concert only 3 months later at the university student festival. From there joined Jinriki Ongaku Fukyuü Koükaï which later performed as Jin On Kyoü. Drifted away from performing around 1986 to run the music tavern, Nanya. In 2008 various circumstances led to becoming reacquainted with the saxophone. Formed a band, began writing music for the first time, and fully enjoying the depth of interest music has to offer.

1980年代以来柔軟に多様な表現活動をおこなう。十牛図など禅思想と東アジアに興味を持ち、95年留学で初来日。96年カーネギーメロン大学アート院卒業。アメリカIT企業に勤めたのち、大幸財団の助成金で99年再来日から就職し名古屋アンダーグラウンドにて、表現者、レーベル、イベント企画、など活動中。Bill McIlvaine, Wesley Housare, London Stadler, Randy Purcell, Ian Gordon, Jim Ferla, Eric Kloss, Collins and Goto、Steve Kurtz、飯村隆彦、のうしんとう、ガイ、逆瀬川健治、カネコテツヤを師事。
Began exploring various artistic pursuits in the 1980s. After developing an interest in East Asia reading Ten Bulls and other Zen koans, visited Japan for the first time as an exchange student in ‘95. Graduated from Carnegie Mellon School of Art in ’96. Worked in the US IT industry before recieving a grant from the Daïko Foundation to return to Japan in '99. Active in Nagoya underground scenes as an artist, label, promoter, etc. Studied with Taka Iimura, Guy San, Nohshintoh, Kenji Sakasegawa, and Tetsuya Kaneko,in addition to those listed above.
