主催：『 LiNK Tokyo 』 LiNK (Liberty in North Korea) とは人身売買、拷問、搾取にさらされる北朝鮮の人達の人権保護をサポートする運動です。『 LiNK Tokyo 』は一年を通して都内で様々な社会イベントを開催し、メンバーを増やしたり、北朝鮮の現状をより多くの人々に知ってもらえるよう活動していきますのでチェックしてくださいね。

理由：様々な意見はありますが、 LiNK はこの映画によって朝鮮半島を悩ませる問題についての考えやディスカッションを喚起さることができればと願っています。 LiNK の活動の優先次項のひとつは人々に北朝鮮問題を知ってもらうことであり、今回の映画上映をスターティングポイントにしてこれから一歩一歩活動を広げて行きたいと思っています。

LiNK (Liberty in North Korea) Documentary Showing

WHAT: A screening of the critically acclaimed documentary film - Seoul Train. Seoul Train is a riveting film of a family attempting to flee North Korea and into China, all the while risking imprisonment, torture, and execution. The film is roughly 2 hours and is in English with Japanese subtitles. The film will be followed by a Q&A session with LiNK's Executive Director, Adrian Hong, who will be flying to Tokyo from Washington DC for the event.

WHO: LiNK Tokyo. LiNK (Liberty in North Korea) is a young professional movement to help support the human rights of North Koreans being subjected to human trafficking, torture, and exploitation. LiNK Tokyo will be putting on social events in Tokyo throughout the year to recruit more members and educate people on the issues in North Korea, so look out for us!

WHY: Although somewhat controversial, LiNK's hope is that this film will spark thought and discussion on the issues that plague the Korean peninsula. One of LiNK's main priorities is to promote awareness of North Korean issues and we hope to do this step by step starting with this film.
