This year Rotunda is going back to Burning Man. This time, with Rotunda Mobile Disco crew being the main frame builder for Omusibi Engine, a mobile recycle garbage collection vehicle, enforced by sound system.

Omusubi Engine will drive around the Burning Man playa, collecting recyclable materials to minimize the waste you would find during the event. There will be live performance, poet reading, tea ceremony and of course, dj's to make some back ground music during the recycling duty. You may find the drawings we have submitted to official Burning Man DMV (Department of Mutant Vehicle) here.

This fundraiser night, we will showcase our 1/1 scale 2 story high prototype vehicle, along with full dj lineups from Rotunda night in Burning Man, We have Mr. Annand of Absurd recordings / Moontribe / LA to light up the show.

Omusubi Engine is a collaboration project between Tokyo, Los Angeles, and New York artists, performers, and burners. Omusubi Engine components will be manufactured around the globe using recycle materials with standard spec, enabling the final assembly in the playa. The truck is 100% reusable for future use.
