Prayer for the Day
今日の祈り

I pray that I may try to follow God's design for today.
神様、貴方のご計画に 私を従わせて下さい。

I pray that I may have the sense of Divine Intent in what I do today.
今日 私が行う事の中に 神聖なる方の意向 を感じる事が出来ます様に。


AA Thought for the Day
今日のAA思考

A better way than judging people is to look for all the good in them.
人々に 良い結果をモタラす為には、裁く事より 其の人の長所 を探す事である。

If you look hard enough and long enough, you ought to be able to find some good in every person.
其の人に 十分な関心を持てば、どの様な人の中にも 必ず 良い点が 見い出される筈である。

In AA I learned that my job was to try to bring out the good, not criticize the bad.
AAで、私のすべき事は 欠点を 批判するのでは無く、長所を 引き出す様に 人と関わる事だ と云う事を学んだ。

Every alcoholic is used to being judged and criticized.
アルコホリックは皆、批判され 裁かれていた のが常だった。

That has never helped anyone to get sober.
ソウした 批判や裁きで ソブラエティを手にした者は 誰もいなかった。

In AA we tell people they can change.
AAでは 人は変わるのだ と云う事を学ぶ。

We try to bring out the best in them.
人々の中の 最善を引き出すように 努力しよう。

We encourage their good points and ignore their bad points.
長所を伝える事で人を勇気づけ、短所は私に任されたモノでは無い。

People are not converted by criticism.
人は 批判によって 回心させられる事は無い。

Do I look for the good in people?
私は 人の長所を 見る様になったか?


Meditation for the Day
今日の黙想

There must be a design for the world in the mind of God.
神の御心には 此の世に対する 確かな御計画が 有るに ちがいない。

We believe His design for the world is a universal fellowship of men and women under the fatherhood of God.
此の御計画とは、神を 父として 世界中の男女が 兄弟姉妹となる事であろう。

The plan for your life must also be in the mind of God.
私 の生命に対する 神の御計画も、其の御心には 明確なモノとして 記されているに ちがいない。

In times of quiet meditation you can seek for God's guidance, for the revealing of God's plan for your day.
静かな黙想の時、私は 神の導きを求め、今日と云う日の 私に対する神の意志 を示される様に 祈り求める。

Then you can live this day according to that guidance.
そして 其の導きに従って、今日一日を 生きるのだ。

Many people are not making of their lives what God meant them to be, and so they are unhappy.
人々の多くは、今日 と云う一日を 神が 其の人に求められている様に 生きる事をしない為に、不幸な其の日を 送っている。

They have missed the design for their lives.
此の人々は 自分の生命に対する 確かな計画から 外れているのである。
