Prayer for the Day
今日の祈り

I pray that I may think of God as my Friend.
神様、貴方を 私の偉大な友人として 近づかせて下さい。

I pray that I may feel that I am working for Him and with Him.
貴方と共に、貴方の為に働く私 であります様に。


AA Thought for the Day
今日のAA思考

I have learned to be less negative and more positive.
私は 否定的な自分 から 肯定的な自分 に変わってきた。

I used to take a negative view of almost everything.
過去の私は 殆ど何事に対しても 否定的で 揶揄的(やゆてき)であった。

Most people, in my estimation, were bluffing.
私の評価によれば、人間の殆どが 法螺吹きと思われた。

There seemed to be very little good in the world, but lots of hypocrisy and sham.
此の世の中は、善 等と云うモノは 殆ど無く、偽善と 偽物バカリの様に 思えていた。

People could not be trusted.
人間は 信頼 出来無かった。

They would “take you” if they could.
人間は 隙さえあれば、私を食う者 と思われた。

All church-goers were partly hypocrites.
教会や神社・仏閣に通う 人々の全て が、何処となく 偽善者の様に思われた。

It seemed I should take everything “with a grain of salt.”
全てに対して 疑い を持たなければならない!と 思っていた。

That was my general attitude toward life.
此れが 私の今迄の人生 に対する 一般的な姿勢だった。

Now I am more positive.
現在、私の姿勢は ズッと肯定的である。

I believe in people and in their capabilities.
私は 人間を信じられるし、人間の有効性 を信じている。

There is much love and truth and honesty in the world.
此の世の中には、沢山の 愛と真理と正直さ が有る。

I try not to run people down.
私は 他の人々を 貶さない様に 努力している。

Life now seems worthwhile and it is good to live.
現在の私にとって 人生は価値があり、生きる事は素晴らしい!と思われるのだ。

Am I less negative and more positive?
私は 否定的な自分から 肯定的な自分に 変わったか?


Meditation for the Day
今日の黙想

Think of God as a Great Friend and try to realize the wonder of that friendship.
神を 私の偉大な友人として、私の思いを 神に向けよう。此の友情の喩え様も無い 素晴らしさに 目覚めよう。

When you give God not only worship, obedience, and allegiance, but also close companionship, then He becomes your friend, even as you are His.
神に対して 礼拝・従順・忠誠 を尽くす 私ダケで無く、身近な 親しさを感じる時、私が 神に近づく様に 神は 私の親しい友となって下さる。

You can feel that He and you are working together.
神と私は 共に働く友人 となるのだ。

He can do things for you and you can do things for Him.
神は 私の為に 最善をして下さり、私は又 神の為に 最善を尽くす事が出来る。

Your prayers become more real to you when you feel that God counts on your friendship and you count on His.
私は 神を頼り、神が 私との友情を大切にして下さっている!と思う時、私の祈りは 心からの 神との語らいとなる。
