Foreign workers

Yesterday I saw some different type of foreign workers at the airport .
They seemed to be from South East Asia .
We both were working so I did not talk to them at all.

I have seen foreign workers from South America and Fillippinas since long time ago but they are new comers.
They were very small .

I wondered what kind of statuses they had ?
