シンプソン歴史調査センター

シンプソン歴史調査センターはアラバマ州のマックスウェル空軍基地にある。
ここに広島と長崎の原爆投下の戦略を記述した機密文書が保管されている。
この極秘文書によると、原爆は戦争を早期に集結させるためではなく、二つの
異なる原爆を試すことにあったとある。戦後の冷戦を見据えて日本で原爆実験が
試みられたのである。

It was created during the latter periods of WW2, and it's about the A-bomb missions of the 509th Composite Group (509 CG). It clearly has details
which shows the A-bombings in Jpn were not for the sake of ending the war
but to experiment the power of the 2 different new weapons. It also notes
how they chose the areas of the bombings which included far more places
other than Hiroshima and Nagasaki, which were chosen as candidates
because the geographical conditions suited the bombings as experiments.
