今日の祈り

I pray that my selfishness may not hinder my progress in spiritual matters.
私の 自己中心性が 霊的な成長を妨げません様に。

I pray that I may be a good instrument for God to work with.
貴方の仕事を、貴方と共に 働ける良い道具に して下さい。


AA Thought for the Day
今日のAA思考

We alcoholics were on a merry-go-round, going round and round, and we couldn't get off.
私達アルコホリックは、メリーゴーラウンド(回転木馬)に 乗っている様なモノだ。グルグル回り続けて 降りる事が出来無い。

That merry-go-round is a kind of hell on earth.
此のメリーゴーラウンドは 此の世の地獄 の一部である。

In AA I got off that merry-go-round by learning to stay sober.
AAに出会って ソブラエティに止まる事 を学び、此のメリーゴーラウンドから 降りたのだ。

I pray to my Higher Power every morning to help me to keep sober.
私は毎朝「私を ソーバーに保って下さい」と ハイヤーパワーに祈る。

And I get the strength from that Power to do what I could never do with my own strength.
そして 私一人の力では 決して出来無い事を 成し遂げる力を 与えられる。

I do not doubt the existence of that Power.
此の 偉大な力の実在を 私は疑わない。

We're not speaking into a vacuum when we pray.
祈る時、私達は 無に向かって 話しかけるのでは無い。

That Power is there, if we will use it.
私達が 活用すれば、其の力は 実在する。

Am I off the merry-go-round of drinking for good?
飲酒 のメリーゴーラウンドから、私は 完全に降りたか?


Meditation for the Day
今日の黙想

I must remember that in spiritual matters I am only an instrument.
スピリチュアル(霊的)な事柄に於て、私は 単なる道具である 事を 忘れてはならない。

It is not mine to decide how or when I am to act.
いつ どの様に 歩むか?と云う事を 決めるのは 私では無い。

God plans all spiritual matters.
霊的な問題は 全て 神が計画なさる。

It is up to me to make myself fit to do God's work.
神の働きに 適合する私を 創り出す事は 私にかかっている。

All that hinders my spiritual activity must be eliminated.
霊的な活動 を妨げる あらゆるモノを 全て 取り除かナケレバならない。

I can depend on God for all the strength I need to overcome those faults that are blocks.
私の 成長の障害 となる多くの弱さを 取り除く為に 必要な力は、全て 神に 求めナケレバならない。

I must keep myself fit, so that God can use me as a channel for His spirit.
自分自身を適切に 整えていこう。ソウすれば 神は ご自分のスピリット(霊)のチャンネル(道具)として 私をお使いになる。
