今日の祈り

I pray that I may look at great souls until their beauty of character becomes a part of my soul.
其の 性質の美しさが 私の魂の 一部となる様に、偉大な魂 を持つ人々に 目を向けさせて下さい。

I pray that I may reflect this character in my own life.
此の 美しい性質を 私自身の 生き方に 反映する事が出来ます様に。


AA Thought for the Day
今日のAA思考

By having quiet times each morning, we come to depend on God's help during the day, especially if we should be tempted to take a drink.
朝、静かな一時 を持つ中で、其の日 一日、神の 助けを求めよう。特に、もし 飲みたい!と云う 誘惑 を感じるなら、。

And we can honestly thank Him each night for the strength He has given us.
夕方、神が 与えて下さった力 に対して 正直に 心から 感謝しよう。

So our faith is strengthened by these quiet times of prayer.
此の様な 静かな一時 の祈りによって 私達の信仰は 強められる。

By listening to other members, by working with other alcoholics, by times of quiet meditation, our faith in God gradually becomes strong.
他のメンバーの 話を聞きながら・他のアルコホリックと 共に歩みながら・静かな 黙想の時 を持つ事によって、私達の 神に対する信仰は 徐々に 確かなモノとなる。

Have I turned my drink problem entirely over to God, without reservations?
正真正銘、少しの取って置きも無く、私は 飲酒の問題を 徹底的に 神に委ねたか?

It seems as though, when God wants to express to men what He is like, He makes a very beautiful character.
神が ご自分を どの様なモノであるか!人に示そう と思われる時、誠に美しい性質を 創り出される様に思われる。

Think of a personality as God's expression of character attributes.
其の一つの性質が 神の一部 を表現している様な人を 思い浮かべてみよう。

Be as fit an expression of Godlike character as you can.
自分自身 出来る限り、神 に似た性質を 身に付ける様に 努めよう。

When the beauty of a person's character is impressed upon us, it leaves an image which in turn reflects through our own actions.
一人の人の 性質の美しいモノが、私に 印象づけられる時、其れは 私自身の行動に反映する イメージを 残していく。

So look for beauty of character in those around you.
私の周りの 美しい性質に 目を向けよう。
