Have events mostly on Fridays and Saturdays throughout the month.
Events are inexpensive and many foreign people and Japanese come. Currently getting around ~30-50 people / event.
Both the events and community are for people who:
* Live in Kansai
* Want to go out and meet new friends.
We reserve the right to remove people from community who don't fulfill both criteria.
Type of events:
* 英会話 / language exchange party
* Pizza party
* Nomihodai party
* Beach trip
Event rules:
* Events purpose is to "meet new friends"
* Come to meet new friends. Friends are people u meet outside of the events.
* Some hosts are strict about dress code. Some aren't.
* Drink cocktails, not beer. Beer makes u fat.
* Sober = boring. Drink while chatting; this is not your office or an eikaiwa classroom. Everyone wants to have a good time.
* You can come to the events alone. No problem.
* We reserve the right to kick anyone out "for any reason" without a refund.
* No aggressive behavior like name collecting for ur own events.
* During the event, we may occassionally ask u to change tables.
* U may talk with the friends u came with, but not for the entire event.
Community rules:
* There is a topic for posting other events. Don't post events in the events section.
* Introduce yourself PERIODICALLY. Just so we know u are still alive.
* After going to an event, let us know ur story. Good or bad stories both OK. No personal attacks.
* If u message community members wanting to be their friends, that message must include your full name and a working mobile email address. If u receive a message without contact information forward that message and the member's mixi profile url to a community leader.
