Chester Hawkins III was born and raised in Oklahoma City, OK, the son of Pastor Chester Hawkins Jr. and Theolimpa Hawkins. Growing up singing in church, Chester knew from the age of eight he loved music and one day dreamed of blessing others through song. Chester was greatly involved in not only the church choir but also participated in school choruses throughout his junior high and high school years, even serving as his showchoir's president his senior year. Chester not only excelled in music, however, but also achieved success in his academic endeavors by graduating at the top of his high-school class. After high school, Chester went on to attend the University of Oklahoma where he later graduated, with distinction, with a degree in Chemical Engineering. Shortly thereafter, Chester relocated from Oklahoma City to Houston, Texas and began his work as a Chemical Engineer. Music, however, was always Chester's first love and he knew his true path in life indeed involved music. Therefore after much prayer, Chester chose to move to New York City to finally pursue his dream of ministering though music. Chester knew that God would make a way if he remained diligent and obedient and indeed God has opened many doors for Chester. Chester wants his music to be a blessing and encouragement for all, letting people knows that with God all things are possible.
