WHO ARE WE?
『VOLUME』は「音量」のVOLUMEと「量」などの多い、少ないのVOLUMEの2つの意味があり、どちらの意味でも『ACE』--『一番』と言う事。
We use the word "VOLUME" as in music and its loudness, either small or large, and "ACE" to refer to "number one!"

WHAT WE DO:
We are both a studio group and live group. What you hear in recorded tracks is often different than what you will when you come to our lives.
Each song is written a little bit differently for the stage as we appeal to both sight and sound.

1994:
テクノサウンドとロックサウンドの融合をテーマに名古屋で活動していたグループ(SEE ZAR)でヴォーカル--プログラミングを担当。音楽活動の場を東京へと移し本格的に音楽活動を開始する。
Yoshimasa Kamata (Main program and Voc) started out in 1994 with techno and rock sound with a band named SEE ZAR (Nagoya, Japan).
Feeling Tokyo was a better place for music, he moved and started music in the capitol.

1996:　
同グループにて当時では数少ないテクノサウンドグループによるイベントDIGITALIAN SPACEを立ち上げ380人の動員を記録するとともにワンマン2days(総動員800名)を行う。
インディースレーベルよりマキシシングルを発売。
全国ツアー30ヶ所決行。
There weren't many of the same techno sounding groups in the area at that time.
Kamata performed at the DIGITALIAN SPACE event which hosted over 380 people at once, 800 in two days.
Following this came a nation-wide tour with 30 shows and the release of a maxi-single.

1998:
メジャーデビューが決定し、アルバム制作に入るが音楽性の違いが浮き彫りとなり解散する。
イベント知り合ったギターリストRICKYとVOLUME ACEを結成。活動を再開する。
SEE ZAR was about to go major and had a record deal, however Kamata felt his music tastes and direction were changing so he left the group and started VOLUME ACE with the guitarist, RICKY.

1999:　
VOLUME ACE1stミニアルバム[VOLUME ACE]を発売。
全国年間100本のライヴ活動を行う。
VOLUME ACE released its first mini-album, "VOLUME ACE."
100 lives were performed nation wide.

2000:
VOLUME ACE企画イベントA BIG PARTYを開催。
話題が話題を呼びNiftyよりライヴ取材を受けA BIG PARTY(動員数490名)が紹介される。
VOLUME ACE hosted its first event, "A Big Party," which hosted around 490.

2003:
VOLUME ACE1stフルアルバム[ Break'n Roll ]を発売。　
VOLUME ACEワンマンを行う。
VOLUME ACE held its first one man live.

2004:　
VOLUME ACEをKamataソロプロジェクトとして再始動。
VOLUME ACE became Kamata's solo project.

2005:
サポートヴォーカルとしてKANABUN (from W.A.R.P.)が加入。
KANABUN (from W.A.R.P.) joined as support vocal.

2006:
2枚目となるフルアルバム"NEW EDGE-X"を発売。
Second Full album "NEW EDGE-X" released.
