WHILE RECORDING HIS DEBUT

LOS ANGELES, CA - Struggling, sometimes homeless, and entering the world of Spanish Harlem at the age of seven, it seems like a miracle that singer/songwriter Edwin ¡ÈLIL EDDIE¡É Serrano would be releasing his first album at the age of 19. Produced by superstar Mario ¡ÈYellow Man¡É Winans, Nobody¡Çs Fool (Yellow City/Big3 Records) is set for an August 24 release, and is a 12-track autobiographical journey written straight from the heart of this young singer/songwriter.

Before beginning work on Nobody¡Çs Fool, Lil Eddie already had one song he co-wrote all over urban radio: Carl Thomas' "She Is" (f/ LL Cool J). He also wrote and appeared with P.Diddy on "I'm Looking At You." Now, as the first artist signed to super producer and Bad Boy recording artist Mario Winans¡Ç Yellow City imprint (via Florida-based Big3 Records), it's Eddie's time to shine.

Recorded at studios in South Beach and at the Big3 recording studios in St. Petersburg, Nobody¡Çs Fool was four months in the making. A quick job considering that Eddie was also writing songs for Usher and Janet Jackson the entire time he was writing songs for his debut.

Eddie co-wrote all of the material on Nobody's Fool. One listen to the dreamy and melodic ¡ÈGotta Go,¡É it's clear Lil Eddie has been studying the radio well. Dig even deeper into the album and you will find songs that are "purely Eddie." The CD¡Çs first single, ¡ÈI Don¡Çt Think I Ever,¡É which features Winans, is getting a great response at rhythm/crossover and urban radio, even before its official radio impact date.

For someone so young, Eddie has been through more than his fair share of struggle and strife. A fire rendered the Serrano family homeless when Eddie was just seven, forcing them to move to Spanish Harlem. From sleeping in cars
to scrambling between shelters, Eddie and his family sometimes
literally slept on the streets. ¡ÈI was discouraged at points
throughout this whole journey,¡É Eddie confesses. ¡ÈBut now
I see that even my negative experiences have been blessings.¡É

Eddie¡Çs first foray into the world of professional music came when
he was just ten-years old. He followed his brother¡Çs footsteps into
the New York Boy¡Çs Choir in Manhattan, which led to performances before the Pope and at the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano, Japan. Eddie also embarked on a 25-city tour with the British Rock Symphony, including a coveted stop at Radio City Music Hall in New York.

Eddie¡Çs metamorphosis wouldn¡Çt have been quite complete without hooking up with Mario Winans. ¡ÈWe clicked instantly,¡É Eddie says. Winans added, ¡ÈI saw his passion to sing. I felt his struggles and the passion in his voice. I knew our connection was made by God.¡É

With experience far beyond his years, an unmistakable voice that will grab you from the first note and featuring the music of one of today¡Çs hottest producers, Nobody¡Çs Fool will leave you wanting more and will introduce Lil Eddie as music¡Çs newest Latino superstar. Stay tuned for news of an upcoming tour and other surprises¡Ä
