English as the only language

However, this community is meant to be the place where only English is spoken as if some distant years later, finally English has won the battle of the language popularity with Chinese and there's nobody who speaks any other languages than English.

Well, it's a bit of exaggeration I know. The truth is I looked around communities related English and thought this idea was unique. The idea is to communicate with each other in English with no practicing level, no language studying, just like the ordinary situation in many other countries and cities around the world, no matter what your cultural background and native tongue are.

Because I believe there are many people who have no problem communicating in English at all even if they are Japanese, Korean or Chinese from mixi. For such people I guess English is sometimes a much better tool to have more efficient communication than by using their own grammatical system. And for native English speakers, people for whom English is the second language usually have more than one perspective to explain and guide you through the different cultures and might be help with some survival tips for some wacky situations, which you wouldn’t be able to enjoy otherwise!
