Lawrence Millman wrote the foreward and saw through the publication of Edward Beauclerk Maurice's diary, called "The Last Gentleman Adventurer: Coming of Age in the Arctic." Millman tells Jim Fleming that Maurice signed up at the age of 16 with the Hudson's Bay Company and was sent to the remote Canadian Arctic in 1930. He taught himself the Inuit language and fell in love with the Inuit culture. Actor Ryan Winkles reads excerpts from the diary.

But tell me about the land when Edward Beauclerk Maurice get there. What was it like when he arrived?
Well, it wasn't as if he had come to some primitive uncontacted area where the natives were all living in the way that [were the absence all had made them. Quite contrary he arrrived in [Pengateng] in 1930. And the [Lawrence] followed by traders, followed by missionalies had been that part of [archecandidate] for propably 100 years.

B M sort of have been called onto handled medical emergencies as well, and when he win the basic first aid.
Did he ever have any training beyond that?
No. He is training eta field, so to speak. In two instances in this book, part ofm, the suceess is somehow keep the Sharman at bay.

今回も人類学的なジャンルの本でしたが、多分半分くらいしか分かってないです‥orz‥結局シャーマンとの関係はどうなっていたのか？とはいえ、まぁこんなときもあるでしょう（諦）。新たな知をめざしてこのパートはこの辺で。
