Here's the latest...
* 'PRELUDE TO SUMMER' RELEASE DATE CHANGED
John Hackett's 'Prelude To Summer' has been moved to a 3rd November release date.
We hope to send the pre-orders out on, or just before, this date.
* GENESIS 1970-1975 SACD/DVD REMASTERS BOX SET
- Genesis 1970-1975 SACD/DVD Remasters Box Set now available for PRE-order! (release date 10th November 2008).
- All PRE-orders of this box set will be signed by Steve!!!
(Please note, there may be a short delay with despatch due to the signing, but at usual we'll be as quick as we can!).
- This is the only chance fans will have to purchase these albums in this format as they will not be released individually in 5.1 at any time in the future.
- The SACDs (Super Audio CDs) WILL play on standard CD players at standard CD quality.
- The video extras on the DVDs are in PAL (European) picture format.
(An NTSC version IS being released, but we're unable to buy it in from EMI as we're in the UK).
A beautifully packaged boxed set presenting five of Genesis' earliest studio albums as SACD/CD Hybrid and DVD Dual Disc sets featuring 5.1 DTS and Dolby Digital Surround Sound and new stereo mixes of the original albums, plus bonus videos and new interviews with band members filmed exclusively for these reissues.
The set contains hours of previously unreleased video. A booklet accompanies each album featuring sleeve notes by Richard McPhail (Trespass), David Baddiel (Nursery Cryme), Roger Taylor (Foxtrot), Jeremy Clarkson (Selling England By The Pound) and Tony Robinson (The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway). The set also contains new liner notes from the band.
The set includes a bonus extras disc full of rarities including 'Genesis Plays Jackson', an aborted soundtrack project for a BBC Art film on the work of painter Michael Jackson.
